Brian,
The site gets morning sun. It is full sun until about 1:00.
I have not experienced any drainage problems. However, as
far as the soil goes, I don't know if it would be classified as
coarse gravel ( I am new to this), or more as sandy.I will tell
you this. My house is very old, and was very neglected for a
long time before we bought it. As I go through the yard, I am
finding things from the days when people buried their trash.
Metal, rocks, nails. I tilled this area by hand and added compost
and fertilizer, removing debris and weeds. I do not know what
the pH is. Does any of this help? I hope I gave you a better
idea of what I am working with. TIA
