Val,
I have Lysimachia ciliata planted in part shade in moist clay. Last
year when I planted it from a quart pot it had 4 stems. This spring
there are about 15 stems clustered in a circle about 8 inches in
diameter and another 10-15 spread in a 20 inch circle. I had the
tree removed that was shading it last year so I expect it to really
take of this year! At least it didn't self seed! It reputation
as aggressive is apparently well deserved since I didn't give it any
special attention.
