I noticed that one of my dogs was lying close to the house when he
would want to get cooled off if I left him out doors too long...wimp!
Anyway, I had planted stuff there and did not want him to lie there
anymore. I found some slim branches that the builders are piling up as
they cut the trees down to make room for more housing. I laid these
along the ground. They give the area a rustic look as the flowers
intertwine around them and discourage the dog from lying down.
I bought a bucket of wildflowers today and plan to put them in an area
outside the back fence that I do not plan to mow! I sure hope they take
hold.
I found some seeds that look just like four o clock seeds but the label
does not say there is that type of flower in the mix. Any idea what the
seeds could be if not four o'clocks?
I poured a huge amount into a sieve and looked it over and tried to
sort some like seeds together. Took me half the day!
What is pheasant's eye? Anyone know? I looked at several wildflower
sights and found pictures of most of the plants listed but couldn't find
this one anywhere.
Thanks,
Rita
