There are several decorative forms of Hypericum available that are not invasive.
Most have yellow flowers folowed by red berries. the We sell Hypericum 'Summer
Gold', one of my favorite small shrubs for lighting up a shady spot, H. 'Albury
Purple', a wonderful purple form, and H. tomentosum, a silver leafed form. All
are very manageable deciduous shrubs, need good drainage (especially the purple
and silver ones), and a wonderful addition to any flower border.
