Ther national council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens.
Basically it gives you a list of all the the plants which have in the past
been notable garden cultivars and seeks those which have becaome rare with
the aim of reintroducing them like Hesperis matronalis lilacina flore
pleno. THE NCCPG seek them out and microprop them etc etc/
I am ashamed that despite my best efforts of going to the local woods and
getting the requisite leafmould etc.... my double dames violet snuffed it!
