Hi, all...
Just last week, I had three reasons to be thankful for this list:
1) Had a fantastic germination rate with top-quality delphinium seeds
purchased from the Dowdeswells, in New Zealand:

that's how I found them.
2) Had equally great success with seeds from Kristl Walek's wonderful
Gardens North catalog. As far as I know, there is no website yet, but the
catalog is well-worth $4.00 sent to 5984 Third Line Road North, RR#3, North
Gower, Ontario KOA 2TO Canada. Kristl has posted to this list, but I
haven't seen anything from her for awhile...she's no doubt way too busy
this time of year.
3) Some of the success was due to the damp-paper-towel technique that I
learned about from the list....though the lion's share of the credit goes
to the top-quality fresh seed from the above sources. (No, I don't work for
them. Wish I did, if it meant free seed!)
Myrna, Zone 3, Montana (Daffodils were just starting when we got a big wet
snow. Happens every year.)
