Question re: fritillaria
For the first time ever, I have a fritillaria growing in my garden. It
looks healthy and ready to bloom, except I noticed something I knew
someone here would know about. The flower buds hang down (as shown on
that little tag that came with the bulb) and are ready to bloom any
day. However, I have several upward facing *flowers* on the stalk that
are already open and look nothing like the suspended ones . . . .
Any ideas?
