Re: bleaching pots...was Container Soil


Hmmm.... I always soak pots I use for seeding in bleach/water solution -
never lost any plants yet from this.  But, I do rinse thoroughly...did you
rinse your pot?

Bleach solution is the only way I know of to "sterilize" pots - doesn't
really, but it kills a lot of nasties - essential for starting seed; not so
essential for potting up something dug up  out of the garden and already
exposed to everything that's going.
