I appreciate your list. I have to deal with a lot of dry, semi-shade also.
But I'm curious about the following 2 items:
Chelone (turtlehead)
Joe Pye weed (eupatorium)
I thought these needed moist soil, evenly moist soil.
I thought, perhaps, the reason my Joe Pye weed didn't bloom more than a
couple weeks was b/c it didn't get enough water. Last year was the first
full summer for it and I was very disappointed in it. I hope it blooms
longer this summer.
Enjoyed the Chelone tremendously. Have it where I pass by a lot and where
the gutter leaks, I think.
