Reblooming daylilies and gentiana cruciata

Last night I purchased a plant strictly because it looked so darn healthy,
gentiana cruciata. Somehow I had it in my mind that the gentiana family
liked hot and dry, but the little information I've been able to find in my
books doesn't say much. The tag on this plant says it is able to take a
little bit of dryness, which would lead me to believe they like more moist
soil

The only thing conclusive I read was "well draining and NO LIME." I live in
the PNW, so drainage is always a problem, but we are acidic not alkaline so
I'm okay there.

Any advice?

Also, I'm getting ready to place an order of daylilies with Oakes and am
wondering if the "rebloomers" REALLY rebloom -- well; do they rebloom a tiny
bit, nothing to write home about, great rebloom, what??? Or is it
individual to the variety?

For mine is just a little old fashioned garden where the
flowers come together to praise the Lord and teach all
who look upon them to do likewise.
