Here's something you might try. Take whatever e-mail program you are using
(Netscape, Eudora, etc.) and go to the Preferences Menu. Somewhere there
(and this will vary according to the specific program) will be a place
where you can specify whether your e-mail messages are sent in HTML (this
is the "gibberish we have been seeing). Try changing this to Plain Text
and see if this helps.
