I just bought some campanula carpatica and have received conflicting
advice on its culture. The place I bought it from recommends steady
moisture and not a lot of sun, a book I have recommends well drained soil
in a sunny spot-- which is it?
The question arises because I tried the Scottish bluebell (Latin escapes
me at the moment) and it promptly rotted out in our clay soil in winter.
(Campanula rotundifolia? I think.)
