Another Canna that has really beautiful dark foliage is the Futurity (Is
that
spelled right?). I bought the Red Futurity at Stokes Tropicals and then
found the Rose Futurity at Home Depot of all places. Both have been cycling
blooms out since April----beautiful!! >>
Don: I have a correction. I don't have the Intrigue, I have the Australia.
AND the Red Futurity hasn't bloomed for me yet, it's been the Australia. I
had not labeled these two plants when I put them into the garden and I
contacted my friend in Mississippi who was shopping at Stokes with me and she
gave me the correct id's. It's the Australia that has the really dark nice
foliage.
A month or so ago there was a really nice dark foliaged Canna featured in the
Horticulture Magazine - I believe it was intrigue. This one is now on my
wish list and I will have to search it out.
