must say it's a big call getting Husker Red seed and getting it to grow.
the problem is will it come true to form? have you tried cuttings - i have
four growing right now and they are doing well and i only bought the
original plant last October - might be a better way to go

A good seed strain of Penstemon digitalis 'Husker Red' produces about 95
percent bronze-purple foliage. Some will be darker than others, As much as I
can determine all plants offered are from seed.

Cuttings work and so does division, cuttings should be taken in early summer,
division can be done in the spring or late summer.
