No idea, Hazel. I was totally unfamiliar with it before I found it in a
nursery. Not even sure which one I bought it from, so I can't check on their
source. Maybe someone else knows. More likely it is a plant that may be
valuable in commerce and the originator isn't going to let just anyone grow
it from seed and not buy the $10 pot! It will be interesting to see if it is
hardy here in the northern rim of zone 6a.
