Thanks, Walt. Through the list, I've found a couple of mailorder sources and one local nursery that carries it. So I don't have to drive to CT! :-)
Coincidently, I know Jaynes indirectly..His son (whose name escapes me now) spent a semester here in Oak Ridge as a student with me. At the time, I didn't realize that Kalmia could be anything but the gorgeous white we see here in our mountains. But by the time his son left, I had ordered several of the Jaynes cultivars from various sources. It was many years ago; I'm ashamed of myself for not remembering the son's name.
