propagating Iris

Does anyone propagate Iris (in this case, Intermediate bearded) from
seed?  I'm trying it out my first time and now that I have brown seed
pods resulting from crosses, I need to know how to treat the seed from
now until next spring.  Any suggestions or web sites carrying this info
would be greatly appreciated.
