ADMIN: subject line headers

Well, the verdict is in.  

Someone recently suggested that we use subject tags to easily identify this
mailing list, and many of you responded in kind.  Unfortunately, those
who were opposed to this change were more vocal/numerous than those who
wanted it, so for now the list is going to stay the way that is.

However, many things are in flux with respect to the lists right now, so
don't get disheartened.  In the near future we may be able to do things
like HTMLize messages or insert tags into Subject: headers *only for
users who want that*.  

Many of you mentioned that you use filters in your email software to mark
mail to this list.  If you're willing to privately share the methods
that you use particular to a specific email reader, I'd be thrilled to
put up a Web page that summarized everyone's submission.

So if you have a way to filter mail, send me a note to lindsey@mallorn.com
and I'll post a summary soon.
