physostegia

another lovely plant that is starting to bloom slightly before the normal
schedule is Physostegia--obedient plant--I particularly like this one for
the fact that it is very upright and never needs staking, blooms when
others are finishing up, and has nice foliage. mine is a nice
lavender/pink. Are they starting to open for others in zone 6? also my
Asters are in almost full bloom--nice deep purple.

I have been busy dead heading, and collecting seed. If any of you would
like Lychnis in a magenta color---purple larkspur (annual)--double black
eye Susan(when I collect and dry them) Digitalis--gaillardia I would be
happy to send some seed if you will e-mail your mailing address to me
privately.
