linaria vulgaris

I have a question for the group. I have the above plant against the back of
the house. I can't seem to grow much of anything back there. I have tried to
amend the soil but it still needs alot of work. Also I need to put a soaker
hose down because the area doesn't get sufficant rain. However the linaria
is thriving. I would like to know what to plant next to it that likes the
same conditions and that would be a good companion plant. I have lost many
things in this area and am tired of spending money and losing it. I lost a
sedum, one of the red ones and to many others to remember. I am going to
move purplecone flower and some ditch lilies right up against the house. I
have a tiny yarrow that I am also hoping will survive. There is also a
yellow carnation that was purchased in the spring. The plant looks good but
it never flowered. So not sure if I should leave and wait to see if it
flowers next spring or move now. Thanks for any suggestions.
