So far, so good. But then, I'm in the heard of downtown, such that you can
call our 32 houses downtown, and there are still thousands of acres of
undisturbed land nearby, between the lake and the nuclear power plant, if
you can call being next door to a nuke "undisturbed." I think it matters
what kind of pressure the herds are facing.
I used to live in the "real" country and never had a lick of deer damage
while Oliver the Big Dog was alive. After he died (killed by a 6-point
buck, BTW), I noticed much more damage in the back yard. Misty the Maltese
just wasn't up to chasing deer.
