Re: Ornamental grasses


Whoops! Sorry about that, Marge,
    Nope ... do not have the species hakone grass this year in my inventory.
It is on my list to locate for 2003 spring catalog. I do have the yellow and
the white variegated versions and the green in the garden. There are a
couple three names cultivars out there in addition to the ones we have been
talking about.
    Once there puppies are out of the pots and into decent soil with
adequate moisture they are still slow to bulk up for display. I am looking
at 4 to 5 years on a couple I planted in the garden last year. ... small 4
inch starts. I placed mine among and in between rocks along the cliff edge
in the center of my garden. Hopefully one day they will look like water
flowing down and between rocks.
