Re: Orange flowers

The nasturtium survives because of me, I think. I adore orange and
rich egg yolk yellows. I have an area set aside as a *hot* garden
with only reds, yellows, and oranges allowed. It is the garden that
gets the most positive comments. I stick orange cosmos seeds and
nasturtium seeds in every garden I have and I STILL have people
complementing my gardens.

I have large pots of bright red callas and brilliant orange
nasturtiums under them that stop traffic. Perhaps people don't like
orange in their OWN garden, but they love it in mine!

I have very few blue flowers and even less white. My theory is that
blue and white are constant colors during the winter here (not in
flowers; in the snow and its shadows) and 7 months of blue and white
are more than enough for me.
