Yes, I read it. On a trip, I read the entire book just fascinated. Follow
that with Eric Hansen's "Orchid Fever" which takes it international.
Neither is really on orchids, in case you do not grow any orchids, they are
on lust, greed, collection and the people who must have these plants. Orchids
are not the only plants on the black market but are probably the most
interesting to write about. A world of plant growers who alway need a plant
more rare than the next guy. Nero Wolfe is built around this group and in
the Stout books, he occasionally has an orchid problem which are not ever on
the TV series. Last week, his orchid rooms were on the show, first time the
whole collection.
