I guess I knew spider mites attack the Alberta spruces and did not think they
would "help out" in your period of severe drought. Mites are tough little
creatures, hard to eradicate when they build up a large population. Hell on
plants in greenhouses and conservatories.
We all wish September and some monsoon comes to the dry parts of the country
soon. It is no fun to have your favorite pastime ruined and then rubbed in
by rains that go right by you while you stand there hoping.
