Aralia - anybody growing?

Sorry for the cross posting everybody....esp. apologies to those of
you who end up with this post more than once due to being on more
than one of these lists:-)
I acquired an Aralia cordata this spring and just read an interesting
article about this genus in, think it was Horticulture Mag. They all
sound ideal for shady gardens and I'm wondering if any of you are
growing any of them? If so, which and what do you think about it and
what conditions are you growing it in.
