Marya, not knowing any better, I just dug up my bulbs
and put them in plastic bags with the dirt that came up
with them, in the garage, and they were in great shape
when it came time to plant them out. However, our hot
dry wave may have killed them - I was gone for 5 weeks
(finally got to Butchart Gardens in BC) and my SO who
was supposed to be watering seems to have missed them.
I'm having a ball reading all the digests at once now
that I'm back!
