It's great! Kind of a space hog when not blooming and I do dig some up each
season. But I love the fragrance when in bloom. I potted some up last year and
gave it away at the regional meeting of our midwest daffodil group.
Did I ever send you any bulbs? My memory seems to grow shorter every year. I
have some extra 'Fragrant Rose' (daffodil) bulbs I could send you a few of. If
you don't already have it, you should. I think it is a classic. Pink cup,
white petals, some green in the eye. Doesn't seem to have any rotting problems.
And the bonus is the slight fragrance of a rose, especially when first opened.
I've shown it in public exhibits when our group has been promoting daffodils.
Unfortunately, many women cannot smell the fragrance, while most men can (my
female daffodil cohorts say the men just don't want to admit they can't!).
Give me an address if you want some.
Bill
