I'm in New Hampshire - never saw mildew on mine and it's everywhere - damp feet, dry feet, dusty feet.
Now I do get mildew on my phlox.....
Cheryl
I've tried the bonariensis several times and it reseeded EVERYWHERE... but I got rid of all the plants. I love it's form. I hate the mildew which all of mine, regardless of where I tried them, were horribly covered in.
Do you not have mildew problems with them and if not, would you please tell me where you've got them sited? I miss that tall see through element.
Thanks very much

heck - the ONLY place I get my Verbena bonariensis to reseed in on the mulched pathes! Cleome is any where I don't want it!
