I tried cross-pollinating several last year and expected to see some
blooms from the resulting plants this year, but no blooms so far. I
guess it will be two years. Some of these varieties produce a lot of
seeds. Every once in awhile, I see rainlily flowers coming from within
the lawn where I must have accidentally dropped some seeds.
