I keep a list going here on my desk all 12 months of the year. Based upon comments you guys make, other lists I am on. Customers comments, other growers I speak with. But, I hold off actually placing orders until about now when wholesale catalogs begin to come in. I just made up 3 orders, but will not fax them until a bit later. Want to run comparisons on size and price, see what else comes in.
Southern Plant Conference is over in Louisville, KY next month and I hope to pick up some new concepts and contacts there. Always looking for fresh sources.
Cooler weather and some rain would help.. I am working in the garden only from about 8:30 until noon then come inside to stay for the afternoon. Set the sprinkler last evening and just turned it on. Will go out and move it at the two hour mark, move it to the next spot.
I will be in Indy... Noblesville to be more exact, this Saturday doing a slide presentation to about 150 Master Gardeners. Their 20th anniversary for this chapter. Should be a fun time ... MG's are always the best.

Gene, that is one of the tough parts of running a greenhouse. The owners of
the GH where I work were gathering their list B 4 we closed in the first of
June.
The gift shop business is much the same. Christmas is over & the
orders for next Christmas are due.
I do hope we get some cooler weather. I will be working in the MG
garden at our state fair on Sat. It is a hot spot at all times but a little
cooler temps & a nice breeze would be wonderful.
I worked all day in my garden today as I have a garden group coming
tomarrow evening to tour my garden.
