Oh we do fundraising.
The March seed and bulb sale brings in several thousand dollars
The April garage sale brought in about $2,000
The May and June plant sales combined brought in $10,000
The August sale will probably bring in up to $4000
The fall bulb sale will bring in about $3000

I don't know that we've ever considered anything like a hog roast though.

The money at issue right now is not specifically for MGs but for the
extension service itself.   The 4H group (who also hold fundraisers), the Ag
department, Homemakers, etc are all parts of the County Extension Service.

The Hort Ed's secretary sent me the names and addresses of  the county
commissioners and the council members.  Looks like I have some letter
writing to do today.
