RE: Anemone nemorosa

	Root system on anemone nemorosa will look like tiny brown twigs just
beneath the soil surface...usually overlapping each other, congested if they
have been there for some time. Perfectly safe to dig them now as they are
dormant. Can you pot up and then place the container in the soil and mulch?
	if not, store in a mix of cool to the touch (moisture) potting
medium in the basement. We use a root cellar or the garage here. 
	A reminder that it is time to dig some for my inventory.

 Well, have been digging up plants in anticipation of moving.  I forgot to
dig
up my Anemone nemorosa "Vestal" and its mostly dormant now. I can see a
couple
of leaves (I think) so I can probably find it.   What do you figure my
chances
of getting it to survive - it will have to sit in a pot till spring.  I hate
to lose it - its such a bright hit it the shade!
