I have never seen or felt those little red tan ants before. Picked up a pot and hand was covered. Lots of different ants up on mountainside where my garden is but I had never run into these before. BUT I have a different feeling about any of the ants I see now. Thank goodness for the raccoons that dig up the hornet nests for me. See there is good in everything. Nancy

According to that site, the image is a good cut with full collar. So the hole must be OK?
