The pawpaws flowers get killed by the late frosts.  They are native here in east Tennessee but crops are scarce.  I was told by old timers here that I needed to hang up roadkill to attract the pollinators.  Guessing flies?  nancy

That’s what I thought about my 2 Asimina triloba  (pawpaw)  They were planted across the yard from one another (about 40 ft), but in 15 years, despite conspicuous flowering, only about 3 fruit, which were quickly consumed by “critters).
