How invasive is obedient plant??- oh well that depends on the form you have.
My species one is very very very spready-growing out about 6-12 inches every
year. (in dry soil- hate to see it in moist soil-oh boy)
But my white flowering forms are less spready-may be four inches a year.
I think I still have one white one that blooms at about 6 inches and it does
not spread at all, but just grows into a think clump.
But as a general rule obedient plant is a spreader that should be give room
to grow.
But what a great plant for late season color and for cutting- always love the
way the flowers swivel on the stem- bumble bees love the plant too.
