Over here i always cut my santolina back to a stub in Feb/Mar. its is so
shorn it looks like a convict and its harde to believe its going to live.
Of course I sacrifice the yucky yellow flowers. Don't Know what I would do
if i had one of the choice sorts like virens or the ones with the lovely
pale lemon flowers.
