Re: August is a hard month


Well Duncan
over here it is the last month of winter so colour is most wanted.
Flowering really well is a geum a rose coloured one of branching
flower stems about 30-45cm good for cutting, primroses are happening
and pansies are still at it (have tried the double ruffled ones this year
and so worth growing).  My yellow hot pokers are heading and getting
ready to go for it, should be good this year as the 2nd season in.
