Butterfly Bushes

In response to Chris who heard that butterfly bushes can be hard to grow,
let me say that they are one of the most wonderful plants to grow because
they require no care from me, yet look spectacular every year. I live
right between zones 5 & 6 and the only thing I do to them is cut them down
to about 12" every fall and they come back every spring to grow to about 6'
tall (I have three in various colors). I don't mulch and I haven't
fertilized the poor things, plus I've moved them twice .... this should
attest to their easy culture.

Good luck!
