bog garden?
i guess at first i wondered why one would want to create one. however, i
had one created for me due to the combo of el nino and a creek, thick mucky
soil.
after many great responses, i have successfully planted blue scaevola, 4
different hardy hibiscus (i'm a tropical fan so this works great), bee
balm, gooseneck loosestife (not the forbidden one), joe pye weed, cardinal
flower, an unknown ornamental grass given to me, butterfly (buddelia) bush,
sedum "autumn joy" and as my annual border, mexican heather. I also am
trying forsythia, burning bush, and dwarf crepe myrtle all growing well but
ready to move if needed.
Thanks,
Laurie
