Newbie returns.
The plant is DEFINITELY vine, not shrub, with huge heart-shaped leaves,
white twirling trumpet flowers, and a wonderful fragrance. I think
definitely not datura/brugmansia.
My friend got her plant from her grandmother. Grandma always let them
sprawl over the lawn, friend lets them sprawl, and I'm back to "How do I
convince a climber to climb?" The answer is just to give it something
to climb on, right? I guess I was envisioning a staple gun, duct tape,
or hot glue gun.
So much for 'there's no such thing as a stupid question.'
