Re: Jewelweed. Be forewarned that this plant spreads like crazy from seeds
it spreads in the fall. Every spring I have so many seedlings start up on
their own. I pull half of them then and more later on during the summer.
Yes, it is usually found in a damp area and blooms in my shaded garden.
Because I like the flowers, I let a few plants go to seed each year.
Zone 4b with lots of wildflowers.
