Pottsey, seeds must be ripe, i.e., mature. Each plant has a different
harvest system. By observation, if you see that the seeds are beginning
or ready to fall from the plant to the ground, then get 'em before they
fall. It's very difficult to explain in a general message, since plants
produce seeds in such different ways.
