Marge Talt has been doing a wonderful series on planting under
trees. URL is

earlier articles from there. I'm not sure there is much that
has been written on planting under trees than can equal the
depth of this series Marge has done.
No association except for a multi-year friendship via email and
great admiration for Marge's knowledge. I've learned an
incredible amount from this series; I thought I knew a lot about
the topic. It is good to be humbled once in a while. :)
