Hi Pat,
It's probably late enough in the season that both of these plants are going
to be OK, particularly the daylily, as long as it still had firm and fleshy
tubers. Just mark where you planted them so you don't (as I have :( ) dig
them up unknowningly in the spring. Just make sure they don't get too
dried out.
