to my knowledge you'd be correct,C.Ms.love heat hence the south grows them so
well.
I have a couple and even though this is far north,they have bloomed(at least
this summer)well for me as we do get very hot for a month or
so(90-100+)..Seems to me I read an article saying the PNW was mild enough
winter wise but the pitfall was the cool summers .Perhaps they are working
on(breeders)ones that will tolerate the cool and still provide bloosoms.
