OK, I'm gonna jump in with my cat story.  I'm a battered women's advocate 
and one day at work I got a call on the crisis line but nobody would say 
anything on the other end.  I could hear noise every so often, but that 
was it.  I kept saying hello, then was worried someone was injured or 
unable to speak, and was trying to decide whether to call the police and 
have the call traced.  Then, just before I did that I heard a voice say 
"Are you hungry Oriax?".  Oriax is my co-worker's cat!  He had apparently 
speed dialed my office from her cell phone.  I suppose to Oriax, not 
being fed on time *was* a crisis.  :)
