Re: Hepatica was: drought tolerant


Gene - or anyone who knows....

I came away from a nursery tour with a plant of Hepatica asiatica var.
japonica this spring, tempted by the foliage - bloom had either passed or
it is too young to bloom.  It is still sitting in a pot waiting for me to
figure out where to put it.  Do you know anything about this one?  Can't
seem to find any information specific to it.  Like, what kind of conditions
it prefers?
