RE: Seymour's

Hi Don & Pat,
As near as I can tell, Seymour's is the retail branch of HPS wholesale
seeds. When they first began, their catalog was better written and actually
was from England. I don't think it is now. I stopped ordering from them a
few years back because seed germination was so sparse and their prices are
almost as high as T&M. No, the blue poppy does not self seed easily in my
garden either! Lord love a duck, I wish it would! I am crazy about it.
The best I could do was keep one plant going for 3 years. I sure do miss it
and have not been successful with any others. Now Meconopsis cambrica -
that's a different story. That's the one that self sow easily - I mean
EASILY and everywhere! When I get the urge to order from England, I break
out my Chiltern catalog.

You must be on the same mailing list as me. I got mine today - eagerly
looked through it and tossed it. It just seemed *suspicious* - no other
word for it. Meager descriptions, very little info, and some photos
looked *colorized* - not like they might look in real life.

I think I'll stick to those I know and trust. Good luck Don, and
Happiest of the Season to all.
