Paul and others,
Daffodil bulbs with green leaves and flower stalks are sold in the markets of
the UK to be used in the many containers of London and other cities. When I
first saw these, I was amazed, daffs in piles in the streetmarkets. The
containers can have cyclamen in the winter and be changed to daffodils (or
tulips) in an instant. Later they plant summer annuals. We don't have the
weather in my part of the country to do this. Our containers are deep in the
cellar waiting for spring. Perhaps elsewhere.
